Yang Yue

Yang Yue is a Professor at the School of Information and Communications Engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University.  He is a founder of  the intelligent Photonics Application Technology Laboratory (iPatLab). He is a Fellow of  SPIE and Optica, and a selectee of China’s National Young Talent Program. His core research focuses on intelligent photonics, spanning applications in optical communications, optical sensing, and advanced photonic chips. He has authored over 300 academic papers, including one in Science, holds more than 50 global patents, and has delivered over 200 invited talks worldwide. In addition to serving as General Chair for numerous international conferences, he has also served as an Associate Editor for multiple top-tier journals in the fields of optics and communications.

Ljiljana Trajkovic

Ljiljana Trajkovic is a Professor at the School of Engineering Science, Simon Fraser University. She is an IEEE Life Fellow, a Fellow of the International Institute of Cognitive Informatics and Cognitive Computing (I2CICC), and an IEEE Distinguished Lecturer. Her research focuses on optical communication networks, photonic system optimization, and new energy-related optical sensing technologies, with an emphasis on exploring machine learning-driven optical traffic analysis and photonic solutions that support efficient energy data transmission. She has received the IEEE Joseph G. Wohl Outstanding Career Award and the I2CICC Life Achievement Award. She served as President of both the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society and the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society, and was Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Human-Machine Systems.

Yousef Farhaoui

Yousef Farhaoui is a Professor at the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques, Moulay Ismail University, also serving as Chair of the IDMS Team and Director of the STI Laboratory. His core research focuses on cybersecurity, machine learning, big data analytics, the Internet of Things, and e-learning. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, ACM, IET, and EAI, and a regular reviewer for top-tier academic publishers including Elsevier, Springer, and IEEE. He has published more than 15 academic books and served as General Chair and Guest Editor for numerous international conferences and leading journals.

Ping Lu

Ping Lu is a Professor at the School of Optical and Electronic Information, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). She is a Senior Member of IEEE and Optica, Chair of the IEEE Women in Engineering Wuhan Affinity Group, and a Topic Editor for the renowned journal Sensors. Her core research focuses on fiber-optic sensing, photoacoustic detection, micro-nano optical sensors, and high-precision fiber signal demodulation. She has won the National Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Class). She has presided over China’s National Key R&D Program (High-Precision Photoacoustic Spectrometer project) and serves as a committee member for numerous top-tier international conferences in optics and photonics.

Muazzam Ali Khan Khattak

Muazzam Ali Khan Khattak is a Tenured Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Quaid-i-Azam University. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, and a member of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Advisory Committee for IT Center of Excellence. His core research spans Internet of Things, network and information security, blockchain, wireless networks, and machine learning for big data analytics. A highly cited scholar in computing, he is recognized as one of the World's Top 2% Most Influential Scientists, and has published over 200 peer-reviewed papers.

Anand Nayyar

Anand Nayyar is a Professor and Vice-Chairman (Research) at the School of Computer Science, and Director of the IoT and Intelligent Systems Lab at Duy Tan University. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and ACM. His core research spans the Internet of Things (IoT), edge/fog computing, wireless sensor networks, cybersecurity, blockchain, and applied artificial intelligence. Ranked among the World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University for six consecutive years, he has won the Obada Prize 2023, the Lifetime Achievement Award, and multiple Best Researcher Awards.

Mojtaba Ahmadiehkhanesar

Mojtaba Ahmadiehkhanesar is a Research Fellow at the Department of Mechanical, Materials and Manufacturing Engineering, University of Nottingham. He is a Senior Member of IEEE. His research covers intelligent control, robotics, machine learning, precision metrology, and Industry 4.0. He has co-authored two books and published over 130 papers. He serves as associate editor and technical program committee member for leading journals and international conferences in robotics and automation.

Xiaodong Liu

Xiaodong Liu is a Full Professor at the School of Computing, Edinburgh Napier University, UK, and Director of the Intelligence-Driven IoT and Smart Systems Research Group. He is a Senior Member of IEEE. His core research focuses on software engineering, Internet of Things, cyber-physical systems, AI-driven smart systems and cloud service architecture.He won the 2021 IEEE Chester Sall Award, IJAC Outstanding Reviewers Award, and 6 best conference paper awards. As Principal Investigator, he led over 12 externally funded projects, published over 190 peer-reviewed papers, and serves as Associate Editor for multiple top international journals.

Xiangjie Kong

Xiangjie Kong is a Full Professor and Associate Dean at the College of Computer Science & Technology, Zhejiang University of Technology, China, and founding Director of the City Science and Social Computing Lab. He is a Distinguished Member of CCF, Senior Member of IEEE. His core research focuses on urban computing, computational social science, network science, and big data analytic. He has presided over the NSFC Key Program, published more than 200 papers in top journals including IEEE TKDE and TMC (over 20 of which are ESI Highly Cited Papers), and won provincial-level Science and Technology Awards. He also serves as an editor for multiple SCI journals and TPC member for top international conferences.

P. Takis Mathiopoulos

P. Takis Mathiopoulos is a Full Professor of Digital Communications at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, and recipient of Killam and ASI Research Fellowships. His core research spans satellite/terrestrial wireless communications, 6G networks, MIMO systems, channel coding and remote sensing. He won the 2017 IEEE ComSoc Satellite and Space Communication Distinguished Service Award and 3 best conference paper awards. He has published over 300 peer-reviewed papers, and serves as Specialty Chief Editor and editorial board member for top IEEE and IET journals.
